The new Concorde Steel Xtra shoe is the newest model in the St Croix Concorde Steel horseshoe family. Designed specifically for horse racing and competition horses, the Concorde Steel Xtra has several specific design features:

-Extra width web: a wider section provides extra support and wear
-Extra heel support: wideer heels for greater support and heel cover in the heel section
-Extra traction: provided by an inside concave section and pronounced edges on the outside of the shoe
-Extra nail holes: extra nails holes have been added to provide more nailing on options and allow the shoe to be used as an open toe shoe
-Extra wear: resistance has been increased through repositioning the steel insert which has been placed further to the outside in the toe area

Punched for race nails fitting a u-creased shoe; Mustad Hammerhead horseshoe nails recommended
